Old Friends

It had a distinctly old world feel about it. We had caught up with these two, and as we followed them, it was clear that they were walking together. They were in no hurry.  No talking.  Just a couple of old friends who know what would be said if one decided to bother. Somehow, in the knowing, it was already said, I suppose.  We watched as they came to this intersection and silently went their own ways.

  1. I’ve seen this photo a hundred times. Its message never seems to diminish… Hmmm, I sense a parallel!
